Meet the Staff of Three Rivers Family Dentistry
Receive dental care from our compassionate and dedicated team.
Mark A. Connolly, D.D.S.
Dr. Connolly is a Middle Tennessee native, raised in McMinnville. He majored in Chemistry at Tennessee Tech University prior to receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Meharry Medical College in 2007.
Before opening Three Rivers Family Dentistry, Dr. Connolly completed hundreds of postgraduate hours in dentistry. At the beginning of his career, he worked at a family practice in Tullahoma before opening his dream office in Murfreesboro.
With a strong dedication to advancements in dentistry, he keeps up-to-date with the latest technologies available to his patients. When he is not practicing his passion for dentistry, Dr. Connolly enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their three children, Seth, Addison, and Everett. He also enjoys biking the Murfreesboro Greenway, studying modern science, and watching historical documentaries.
Business Operations Manager
Sarah is a Nashville native who has lived in Murfreesboro since 2011. In 2013, she earned her MBA after obtaining a B.S. in Marketing. She has worked in both finance and education fields with years of experience in sales, management, and marketing. She loves handling the business operations of Three Rivers Family Dentistry and contributing to the care of her community.
Sarah has the pleasure of being married to Dr. Connolly and they have three amazing children Seth (16), Addison (14), and Everett (10). As a family, they like to travel and eat lots of ice cream!
In her free time, Sarah enjoys going to music festivals with her sister and eating great food at restaurants with patios. Another fun fact about her is that her great, great, great, great grandfather was Captain Tom Ryman, who built the Union Gospel Tabernacle, now famously known as The Ryman Auditorium.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Maria received her education at Western Kentucky University and has since had 13 years of experience in the industry, with four of them taking place at Three Rivers Family Dentistry. From her time at Three Rivers, Maria has been allowed ample time to individualize her patient care.
She enjoys getting to know families as a whole through her line of work, and delights in knowing that patients are leaving in better health than when they came in. She always enjoys helping patients achieve optimum oral health so they can put their best face, with a healthy smile, forward!
In her free time, Maria loves to exercise, sew, read, and play with her dogs. One day she would love to swim with sharks.
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Megan received her Associate of Applied Science Degree and following that, began her dental career at Three Rivers Family Dentistry in February of 2013. She absolutely loves her job and the relationships she’s created with patients along the way. One of her passions is helping patients realize their dental dreams and that they can have the smile they’ve always wanted.
Megan is married to Ben (whom she met at Three Rivers) and has two outstanding children, Landon and Hadleigh. Landon keeps the two of them busy with sports and outdoor play/adventure. Hadleigh, their newest addition (born in September 2017) keeps them busy doing all of the things a newborn does.
In her free time, Megan enjoys going to the pool and having cookouts with her family. She is also actively involved with her church. A fun fact about Megan is that she loves to find coupons and save money! If something isn’t on sale and she doesn’t have a coupon, it’s highly unlikely she’ll make the purchase.
Registered Dental Assistant
Sheila obtained her Dental Assisting License in 2011 and continued her education the following year, obtaining her Dental Assisting Expanded Functions RDA license in 2012. Her passion for dentistry has led her to work in a dental office for over six years, doing both clinical and administrative work. Along with this passion, she hopes all Three Rivers patients have an enjoyable dental experience.
Sheila calls Nolensville home with her three children, Matthew, Isabelle, and Waylon. During the weekends they are usually out fishing. Their hobbies include playing sports, especially baseball, and everything having to do with the outdoors.
Maribel has been working in reception since 2012, and has been at Three Rivers Family Dentistry for just under a year. She enjoys the atmosphere at Three Rivers Family Dentistry because the staff members are so friendly and eager to help each other when needed. In her freetime, Maribel enjoys listening to music on her back porch while enjoying the weather. Fun fact, she’s also fluent in Spanish.
